My bro was outside the house that my dad lived in wen we were teenagers, this is the house I went to stay for the week I stayed with him, I would of had to knock on the door if it was me but my bro just sat out in his delivery van lookin lol
Info I got today off my mum - John King born 2nd October 1941 in Worcester, his army details were *23735707* cant be 100% on army number but she is very sure, has remembered it all her life, he was SGT/SSGT RCT . His mother was Vera born 16 September 1922 in Worcester . He was last known to of lived in Petersborough . He did marry a lady called Margaret aprox 1977 ..
Ok so this is weird !? Not really, it is surprisin really how many ppl grow up without one or both parents, that is the amazin factor that this can happen ...
My mum and dad split up wen I was around 3 yrs old, I know this cos my mum was pregnant with my younger brother and there is a 4 yr gap between us, do I ave memories of my father ? No ! The one memory I ave is wen yrs and yrs later *I must of been in my early teens* I went to stay with him for a week, I had never spoke or heard from this man before in my life, and due to things I sharnt go into on ere I didnt trust men in the slightest and this stranger I didnt give him the time of day basically really, so the man that I could of gotten to known and possibly grown a relationship with I never did, after that week with him I never heard off him again ! Time moves on and u go through different stuff in life and u cant help sometimes but think back to times in ur life wen u wish u had done somethin differently and this was one of them times, my mum has tried to help me to find him before now and is still willin to do anythin to help me, I ave spent many nights makin phone calls to every J King in the phone book all over the country to get more and more dead ends and lots of well wishes off some lovely ppl .. I dont know wot it is but I just ave always wanted to find him for many yrs now, I would hope that possibly he feels the same way, I really dont ave any idea, I can only hope I guess .. If I find him I really dont know wot then, I guess I just want to know, wot I want to know Im not sure about that either if Im honest ...
Anyway his name is John King, he would be in his 60's now and last I knew was married to a lovely lady called Margaret, he lived in Norfolk wen I went to visit him, the only places really I ave known him to live is Kings Lynn and Petersborough, I would ave to double check with my mum on everythin else, she even remembers his army number so I'l get that too, his pic on the page is many yrs ago so prob not much help but that is my oldest brother in his arms and hes now in his 40's so lol that shows how old the pic is but its the only pic I ave of him !!
I did try writin to the army pensions office I think it was, my mum new all the info on that too cos he would be bein paid pension and sent a letter with stamp for them to forward to him with a stamped self addressed envolope for him to either reply or them, sadly that was a dead end too, I got it back sayin they couldnt help me and apologies ...
I suppose at my age it is a very long shot to find him now, but atleast puttin this up in ere is another way of tryin, as so many are on the net each day u never know who is passin by your spaces huh ...
